Checked out an E55 with cut hood liner

The liner under the hood was cut in a special way towards the front. I wish I got a pic. It's peculiar.

Any ideas?

The belt flew off and shredded the liner. Its what happened to me after shredding multiple belts in the past.

Same thing happened to me. The belt ripped up my liner pretty good

I'll consider that. It looks like it was nicely cut with a specific arc to it. Let's see how the inspection goes.
