So I've recently test driven the W211 E63 as I might decide to get one in place of my 55. I've driven the car on the street, I did get some chances on the ramp up to the freeway to give it a little squirt however I'm never heard it at WOT from outside other than on video. I just saw the InsideLine track video of the new E63 and the thing sounds just I don't know what to say. The question is why don't other E63 videos on the internet sound like that, could it be that InsideLine are using high quality mics or maybe the mics are adding extra sounds, it's hard to judge it you haven't heard it for real like me so for the guys who have, does the E63 sound like the video below in real life, there's a very "thunder-y" note about it expecially when they're doing the quarter mile at the beginning.

Instead of making a new thread I thought I'd ask this question on this one since I've asked a similar question before. Does the W212 exhaust sound different to the W211 E63? I really like the sound after the Supersprint exhaust was done on this W212, the question is would the W211 E63 sound EXACTLY like that with the same exhaust.

It will be extremely similar - there were a few revisions to the W212 exhaust by SuperSprint but otherwise they both sound very much the same!
