Rumor: Someone ran a 10.79 ET today!!! WHAT??
So I am hearing that someone laid down a 10.79 today.. This appears to have been the best of 8 passes, all in the 10's.
My sources tell me this was done with an E55 running 93 octane.. nothing else
DA was positive, and this is an extraordinary feat.
My "sources" earlier in the day had indicted a 10.81.. but that was a short lived PB for the driver, who, for the moment will be unnamed.
Seems the car was a collaborative effort between a couple of sponsors here. Anyone want to confirm this Misinformation?????

It was not me... I wish. I have yet to get to the 1320 this year. Mo, I am waiting for Famoso for my new PB!! (You going to announce soon I hope , I hope.... I have a BAD itch now!!!
Alan's record still stands, but this was a great run today, nonetheless.
Slip and Video will likely come out.... Soon I hope. Track was ATCO. I'm trying to get more details.

Sounds to good to be true, straight 93 octane (no race gas, no nitrous, no methanol injection) AND with a DA above sea level? Crazy stuff. Did your "sources" include a trap?

The 10.81 was at 128.7, so I will have to wait to see the slip!
My "sources" are probably liquored up at this point.. LOL
DA looks to have been about +214. That is not bad for a California track, but NJ sees some great DA's (-1500 etc)

That's absolutely flying on pump gas!!!
