Gary,
I picked up a used bumper from a local and one of the fog light lenses is cracked. How much would a replacement lens or assembly be?

E63 Parktronic sensors
Has anyone tried using E63 parktronic sensors? I would like to avoid the adhesive tape and epoxy solutions. Would like to know specifically if they fit the bumper without modifications and are compatible with the E55 harness plugs.

I've had the Suvneer bumper for a while and am very happy with it. One recurring problem I had was mounting the PDC sensors.
Initially, I reused my E55 brackets and glued them in with golf club epoxy. It was a PITA trying to get them aligned and after a while the epoxy started to lose its bond.
2nd attempt: Took them apart and reglued them with JB Weld. Lasted a while, but eventually the same thing happened.
You can see that this one started to sink in and another fell in completely:
Here is the epoxied E55 bracket from the back. It looked like it would hold, but nope!
Finally, after more research, I bought 6 PDC self stick brackets, designed for the SLK (part # 1718850014) and 6 Spacer rings (part# 2215420051)
The PDC holes in the Suvneer bumper are a tiny bit too small and needed to be opened up a bit for a good fit - I used a step bit for this.
Here is the self stick bracket from the back - some brackets needed trimming at the base to fit the contours of the inner bumper.
The self stick bond seemed strong, but I've been fooled before. I covered the base with Automotive Goop as insurance
All plugged in
Looks good from the outside:
Hopefully, this info is valuable to someone

do you still have these in stock? I ended up ordering a different E63 bumper and my lip wont fit it. So I did some research and found out (sadly) that there were two versions of this bumper and I bought the one that doesn't accept lips (has the thinner lower portion). Anyway, I'd like to order one of yours that is an exact copy of the OEM one.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi,
I am sorry you got the less quality version. I have the exact OEM copy in stock. I believe I am the only import who brings them in. Other sellers just wants to pay less to make a quick bucks. I rather make less but sleep better at night knowing my customers are taken care of. Please email me gary@suvneer.com
