11.8@118 Stock E55 at Atco

My buddy just got an 06 E55 that is bone stock. He did heat exchanger and pump since his pump was broken. Took the car to Atco and on the 2nd pass ran 11.8@118 on street tires. I thought that was very impressive and decided to share the vid you guys...

Mismatched street tires too lol !!!

i know that its not teh fastest for a stock powered car. enzo did 11.77 i believe on street tires is still the fastest.

he's also never been to the track and it was his second attempt, you can see that first run was a horrible 12.6 .

well -900 is signifcant enough that if it was corrected it wouldnt be a sub 12 second pass .

Congrats on the air tho! Wish we had that in Illinois!!!

Holy Crap...I knew there must of been a reason when I bought my car a few months ago it had a GY all-season on one side and a Bridgestone on the other. But why does it have BFG KDW's on the front...hmmm

Great run and congrats on the new purchase(to the OP's friend). ATCO is the POO. Our Cali tracks stink in comparison.

My goal of stock 11s on street tires will have to wait until next year.. Seems like whenever I get the 60' for it (1.79) I dont get the mph, then when I get the mph (116) Im not able to get a good enough 60'..

Great job though

Congrat on the air tho???

Kind of harsh don't you think?
The owner didn't come in here bragging about his car. Even if he did, it was his first time out and on his second pass....that is damn impressive...corrected or not!

How did you do on your first time out?

DA is nature, and if you are lucky enough to get a good DA, your time stands. I don't believe in correcting for DA at the track. Dyno, sure.. but your time is your time. And this is a great one!!

LMAO. Calculated DA is for internet DORKS. Congrats on qualifying. We go to the track run, and post time slips as opposed to using internet calculators. We are fortunate to run at sea level with good temperatures so we dont have to make each other feel better by saying OMG if you ran at MIR you woulda ran XX.XX - LOL

It can be very tricky to hookup in this cold weather. I've had my E55 slide towards the wall past 70mph at Atco in 30 degree weather on a 11.4pass.

Very tricky indeed . . . About 10 days ago on the A60 in 30F air I lit up the ESP light in 3rd at 165 KPH (about 103 MPH) with an LSD. I know the surface temps were cold and the tires were cold, which attributed to the loss of traction, but we all know that these 113's become very different when they can get some really cold dense air.
