WIERD BEHAVIOR AFTER ECU RESET
i did the ecu reset with the key and ignition thing, and then after the whole process , i fired up my 04 E55 , and the wierd thing is it pulls fine but, the gear shifts at like 6000 rpm, is that normal , it happens when i floor it , but when driving normal it shifts normally, plus i switched to K&N yesterday and i didnt feel a difference, if anything it felt slower ,
, plsss any thoughts , i have 107k miles , thinking of switching back to the green looking filter that i saw in there

Not sure on the 6000rpm thing but DO check your hoses. Especially the hose that is on the back of the air cleaner near the bottom drivers side. It comes loose often. Might have a loose hose or air cleaner may also not be fully seated onto the throttle body.
Can't imagine Ks to Greens or reverse would be that big a difference.

I've been running K&Ns in my 55 for years. I also do the sneaky adaptation reset from time to time and never had a problem with it shifting too early or too late. I don't doubt you're in the right shift mode, but double check to be certain that you are not in the "C" setting.
