Engine Cover
Wondering if someone can help me out with my engine cover. I took it off this weekend for the first time when I changed my air filters. It has a clip on the front right side (my left when looking at it from the front) but theres nothing to clip it on to. Wondering if I'm missing a rod or dowel that the previous owner or one of his mechanics removed.
If someone could take a pic of two of whats under their cover I can compare it to mine and see whats up. I checked the EPC but couldn't find anything. The opposite side clips on to a tube.

there is a plastic piece which has a metal clip on the end of it. due to the heat in the engine bay i have seen the plastic become brittle and break off.

Here's a pic with the cover removed. To clear any confusion, I have the clips and all the plastic tabs on the cover. On the front of the cover I have 2 clips that are secured with philips screws. One clips on to a rod thats part of the oil filter housing. My question is what does the second clip attach to on the front left of the cover.

I was able to get a pic of under the cover with it on using my blackberry. Seems that clip is right above the puller.
