Let there be 5mpg, burnouts at every light, and I'm taking on all Civics, Preludes, Camrys, and Delta 88's all day. Gotta burn 1/2 tank.

Thats just crazy what a day to miss. I can't imagine the weather being any better. I didn't realize the Delta 88's were that strong... They sure do things different south of the Mason Dixon Line. You better hope granny doesnt have a built GN motor swap done to give you a run for your money. All kidding aside, I wish you guys the best of luck. I hope to make it down again. Expecting good times from all!!!! No pressure , No pressure!!!

Wow that DA is awesome!

Well tomorrow I will own the record for the W221 S65 2007+ class regardless of my time, why?

Because people that drive 2007+ S65's are lame, there isn't a single 1/4 entry in dragtimes.

I hope to be the first whether I can't hook up and pull a 13.0@120 but hope to run 12.0@120 as stock for the car is 12.4@118 since its freakin 5200 lbs and I filled the tank up last weekend, doh.... so add me to the mix and its 5600+. That is a fricken tank. And I will be on street tires :-( but it will be fun no matter what.

You guys that thought you had heat problems in the E55 (I was one of them), try IATs at 150-190...welcome to the V12TT. Its a heat synch.

Lets talk about that tomorrow, would love to speak to him and hear more about his car as I am looking at a green one now (they are rare) and thinking about getting into AutoX. Unfortuantely even with a tune & exhaust they are at best a 11.8@118 car but they handle like a ****.

This man speaks the troof!

It was 41* today when I was out jettisoning fuel for tomorrow. My IATs were 100-105 during normal highway cruising. The good news is, if I dropped the hammer at 60 mph, she broke loose and my IATs fell to 70*....

V12TTs are nuclear reactors.

BTW, a coworker/friend of mine said I/my car came up during a Facebook convo you were having with somebody. I'm the SL600 he was referring to. Dude is named Dave H., has a tricked Rx7, and is an instructor at VIR.

My name is Clayton.

Because I have a matching set ccw drag pack that I picked up. It will be my year round setup. I do have another set too that would be just as deadly that I am working on.

Hey Clayton, good to meet you, yeah your ride came up on Facebook. Your fiend Dave knows my good friend Pete who also has a tricked out RX7 and is also an instructor at MIR. It will be good to meet you. I was told to look out for the PLATE "TORQUEY" or something like that.

How do you keep your IATs down? What water pump do you have? I tried the Mezier 2 TIMES and both failed on me so i gave up and now i just have an OEM Johnson pump.

I am sure when i arrive my car will be super heat soaked. I might buy some ice to lay on the intake or IC but will probably do very little. I need NOS to cool the car down (semi serious).

YDM Amhad, i wonder if those CCWS would fit on by ride, lol. Now I need to do some research and try to figure out how to put my car into dyno mode.

Isaac, your IAT should hover around 50-60 over ambient in these cars. Stab the throttle and it should drop to 30 over and slowly rise. I'm running a completely stock cooling system and pump. You even have a slightly larger h/e than me, I do believe. Sounds like your system might need to be bled, if you recently changed the pump.

Takes me 3 hours to get there with morning rush hour. So yeah, my car is ragged when I arrive. It'll cool down in about 2 hours in those temps tomorrow.

No sir, no meth. I really, REALLY want to do this with just a tune. Well, tune and D/Rs....oh, and no mufflers....oh....and filters. But yeah...tune only.

I hope that gas station about 5-10 miles away has some, i plan to get a few bags on the way down.

I am calculating tomorrow's max negative DA will be -2.2K at sunrise and -1.5K at noon and -1.1K at peak temp of 51 assuming 27F dew point and 30.5 barometer. Should be good to go.

This right hurrrrr fellas, means your **** is; wtf you **** is. Cant complain about d/a, or track prep, or sac-town timing equipment. If you run slow tomorrow; well, your car is slow. If it runs fast, it will all be caused by the D/A; right? So it's a no win. I say let's use MIR as a meetup spot, everyone make 2 hot lap passes. The slowest buys first round at Camelot Night Club. The only D/A I'd be worried about at that point, is the D.A., right behind my zipper. .
