Velocity Adjustable Throttle Booster Response System
Has anyone else fitted one of these to their car?
I tried it on the 1st 2nd and 3rd setting and can notice the change.
I tried it on the 4th setting and the check engine light came on. It was very responsive upto about 60mph and then the throttle stopped working, by basically going into limp mode. Turn the car off and on........same thing, throttle cuts out and stops working.
Cleared the engine check light and the fault came up as "throttle position out of range/implausible".

Anyone?
I have now been able to fully test the unit and the fault actually does occur with all 4 settings, apart from when the unit is switched off.

On this side of the pond we call it a "Sprint Booster". most that have it are happy, you might try a search under "Sprint Booster".

For anyone that was wondering what is inside the unit that originally retailed for $450 a picture is attached of the very complicated and exspensive components.
Also I would like to say a big thank you for all the service and replies which I got regarding the issue to PYSpeed which have totaled a big zero and don't seem to exist anymore.

Thank you, I already had one of the inline none adjustble ones fitted and never had a problem, I just wanted to be able to switch it off, so I might look into the newer adjustable sprintbooster version who are reputable suppliers.
