Its not very fun when it's 5am, the music has stopped, and you're sitting on the curb of the Hilton wondering how the F$ you're gonna get to your room.

Hopefully I can get to the track next week and take it out on her maiden 1/4 journey. I just have so much going on trying to get things ready for TF.

I've never had the pleasure, but I've heard it mentioned that the R8 feels... numb. Like you're somehow disengaged from the drive... you're an occupant in the car, but the car is managing what it does, not you. Is this accurate?

Ok guys, the Hilton has a total of 15 rooms left for Saturday June 9th in the whole hotel, our block is full and it is suppose to be closed. I convinced them to hold 3 more rooms for us until the end of today. If you want one, get it now.

Anyone heading out to Timmayfest in Columbus Ohio on June 7th-9th from MD, NJ, PA, DE or VA? If so, is there anyone interested in an AMG caravan out there on n Thursday June 7th? A large train of authoritarian German Muscle would make a powerful showing and would make an entrance like no other. Oh, to hear the mighty rumble of supercharged V8s charging down America's Interstates, with their owners behinds coddled in supreme comfort in supportive heated and cooled fine Napa Leather. It just brings a tear to your eye!
A 7 hour trip from Baltimore to Columbus would be an absolute blast with a cadre of high-muscle German road monsters to make for a beautiful eye-popping treat to all who we pass and watch disappear in our self-dimming rear-view mirrors. Who has the guts to rumble and roll with only the very best of the best. I know it is you, the Fast and the Proud members of the AMG elite!!
Join me, we may never have another opportunity like this.

it will be to hot and last yr we got rained out before dark. even so we all had 5 or more passes and it was worth every penny . slapped a few bimmers around and watched some fast dam m/b run!

I had an amazing ride back from the track. Heh, heh...
As for the caravan out there, my departure time is way too up in the air for a commitment from me. Best not to depend on me...
