Can anyone confirm if you need to buy new foam re-enforcements (energy absorbers) for this or if you can use the ones from the e55 bumper?

I bought new foam. Saves time from trimming, was relatively cheap (70 bucks) and probably better reinforcement if you get in a collision.

I don't know your pass Experiences with this company, but I've called 3-4 times already and the lady transfers me to the parts department and I keep getting a voice mail, left a message and still NO response at all.
Probably rather just pick it up from the dealer. It would have been nice to ask them some questions about parts needed for this amg upgrade.

Parts.com seems like its cheaper @ around $750 for bumper cover. Oem? And where are they located? I didn't see a contact #...

I just put in my order at parts.com for all the supports and dropped bumper cover off this morning for paint.

They are def OEM... ive bought from there before. They come straight from mercedes of Westmont IL.

Guys I'm having trouble with the E63 conversion. I have the parking sensors, I cut the off the ones that came with Gary bumper shaved the ones on my bumper and still didn't fit. Now I'm ordering the ones for the SLK, now do I have to modify those or is it a direct fit

started to do my conversion tonight.... man idk what you guys are talking about.... taking the bumper off for the first time is kinda of a *****. Finally got the slider braket off - calling it a night finishing the rest of the install hopefully this weekend.

Also as I prepare for the remainder of the install... did you guys glue the inner supports to the back of the bumper?

No, mufflers only will not affect anything.

Use a hammer and punch to get that bracket to move
