Forums such as this cost money, and revenue from vendors/advertising are a bulk of what keeps the site humming along. That stated there are a few vendors here I will deal with, and a few I will not even respond to, yet ever purchase from based on their behavior, trade practice, reputation, etc. Seen it many times over the years and it will occur again here-vendors come and go.
Also, forums will generally always side with those that bring the bread to the table-human nature. The mistake is when they ignore the fact that those vendors are supported by those they eventually alienate, then nobody wins.
There is a balance, and Mbworld, vendors, and even enthusiasts need to understand that.
When it comes to etiquette, I have found things have improved on the site. Was a time where it was no hold barred verbal onslaught , and things have been civil for the most part in recent months. With so many folks from various backgrounds, age, etc. it is amazing we get along as well as we do.
Sometimes you want to reach through their monitor and give someone a high five, while others you want to slap them upside the head. LOL. At the end of the day, I like cars, sharing my interesting with others, hopefully contribute at times, and call it a day.
