xpl0sive do you think the g55 exhaust will fit the e55 ? e55dimon what do u mean by unrealistic on the e55 . if the exhaust fits then why wouldnt it sound like a g55 . does the sound have some to do with other than the exhaust ?

well unless you wanna dump the exhaust half way under a car like an old Camaro or have it exiting the sides like a G55, i don't think the same sound can be accomplished. you can get close by doing a true dual setup, but our exhaust is simply too long

Would it fit though, I mean isn't the G55 engine mounted higher up. Are the headers part of what makes that sound and if so would their angle be steeper and not fit on an E55

I do want to know what the hooker earochamber muffler would sound like though honestly.

I don't think it is gonna be possible to get that G55 sound on our cars. Go Eisenmann or RennTech and call it a day.

Maybe contact the guy on eBay or find a G55 that you can measure the dimensions of the exhaust and see if you can squeeze it in the E55 and make it work. Would be interested to see the end result.

I would love to try this. If it's a guaranteed fit I'd actually do it ASAP. Can any exhaust experts weigh in on if this is viable or not. By the way I think you need the full G55 exhaust not just the mufflers. I agree that the G55 is an epic sounding car
