Shout out to GT-ER/ Brooke/ Bruce and PTE!!! Many thanks!

After all the nightmare stories of pulleys I was scared to friggin death installing my latest pulley (first time on my own without my tech)

With all of your advice, it was nerve racking but literally a breeze!

Think best advice was marking that keyway and then the pulley slot to make sure I was in the neighborhood. Extra blessing was that my pulley was able to wiggle enough so that I could "feel" that keyway. Actually spooked me once and I pulled it without tightening the bolt. 2nd time was a charm.

Holy cow is 180ft lbs + 90 a lot of snot. Good arm work.

I am now the proud owner of what I call "the Eurocharged gorilla pulley". Up here, my new 200mm runs pretty much like your 180-185s down at sea level.

Datalogging all this week but looking good so far. Think this will conclude modding for me. Sigh.....it is finished (exhale)

Just wanted to say thanks and as always.

Jim

Could you elaborate on this part?

Anytime my friend. I hope my bad experience can help others on here...lol.

BTW- Did EC tell you to use those torque specs on that pulley? Cause mine was 275lb-ft + 90*.

200mm club!!! what pulley were you on before that?

and I think 275 is too much,it might stretch the bolt too much and basically wreck the locking part.

What can I say? It's what EC requests on their pulleys.

Unless EC has revised its crank pulley bolt torque recommendation, GT-ER is correct...https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...mm-pulley.html.

I've read your forum on replacing your SBC reservoir and was wondering if you can give me some direction on replacing mine.
