Did a search but came up empty. Need to remove the clamshells under the door patches. Is there a trick or do I need to remove the handles? Also, wouldn't mind removing the chrome on the side molding and bumpers. If I'm not mistaken, the chrome rings around the headlights are easily taken off. Right now I'm driving some doctor's wife's car and I would like to clean it up. Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I've helped a friend remove the chrome door handle inserts and the chrome headlight bezels. They're typically just attached with adhesive tape and require gentle pulling on a loose corner to take them off. Might need some adhesive remover to clean up afterwards. Can't comment on the bumper chrome.

The chrome bumper moldings can be painted.. Thats what I did.

Light heat from a hair dryer should help remove the clamshells without any/much residue. watch the paintwork.
