Thinking about picking up a early E55 - what do i need to look out for issue wise?

I currently drive a e46 m3 which i love. Its a great car which you feel very connected to when driving, but looking to the e55 for more of a fast DD.

I am looking for a e55 under 25k. Given this they are going to have higher mileage so what I look out for in regard to repairs etc.? I can do many basic DIY stuff myself (brakes, oil changes etc.)

From searching around i am most concerned with the supercharger failing. Are there are other things I should be worried about? What kinda costs am i looking at for repair? Assuming a 03-05 e55 w 60-75k miles.

I did search and found issues with the following : airmatic shocks, brake by wire system, etc. but looking to get comments on what is common, how I can spot issues before buying and what i am really in for in regard to repairs.

Thanks

Not sure if it was this site you did a search on... Maybe you mean the Supercharger PUMP?

If that's true then you didn't spend enough time searching and reading.

The supercharger intercooler pump fails, but is easily replaced for a DIY'er. Valve covers will eventually leak, but it is also a DIY. Plugs, wires, O2 sensors, will all probably need replacing around 100k miles. Catalytic converters won't last forever on any car. Belts. You'll probably get an idler pulley failure eventually, another easy DIY. If you rag on the car you might break the rear sub-frame bolt, but there are fixes for it. Motor mounts don't last very long in my opinion, nor do the tranny mounts - mine started to leak at 60k miles. Ball joints. Air filters are an easy DIY.
