My 0-160MPH-0 run in 1 mile on a CLOSED Road - Video - Prepare Yourself :)

No munitions I promise you. 
It's a perfectly straight/flat one mile road that leads into a state part that closes after dark. They don't test weapons there, at least to my knowlege!
It's about 1 mile from my house and I call it my private drag strip, especailly after dark.
During Thanksgiving with the father in law in town I let him drive the beast on this road, ***** out, and he loved it! So the E55 can make your in laws like you more I also asked his permission before asking his daughter to marry me which helped.

You might want consider investing in a camera mount next time. A bit safer with two hands, don't you think?

Below is a pick of one of my front brakes after the run. I do believe I was braking pretty hard! The breaks feel fine, the pads are new and the rotors aren't grooved/warped, just discolored (obviously) so do I have anything to wory about here?
My guess is it's just a bi-product of the intense heat when I was scrubbing off 160 MPH to 0 MPH in .3 of a mile. Physics at work! (Kinetic engergy being transformed to heat.)

I wished that you able to take video of the glowing hot brakes after the run.
I have never ever braked that hard,hell I've never seen 156 MPH. 130 yeah, but not 156 mph.

Basically the car went way faster/quicker than I thought it would (this is the first run, "***** Out," run I did with my LTH & Stage 3 Jerry tune) so I was sort of panic braking at the end. Hey but it worked out OK! (luckily.)

When I get my rail, injectors and TB I'll do another run OK guys? I'll probablly put on new pads and rotors and get a camera mounted system as well. D
Heck maybe a few gallons of 109?

mini hijack - several years ago I bought (from some place in Texas) larger pulleys for my E55 and SL55. Great additional power BUT, just one run on a hot day can shut the Kompressor off. I know I need to pump more through the 'intercooler' (sp), can anyone enlighten me where to order the pump and if it's a DIY thing?
Once that's done - I guess I should get a tune ??

Thanks everyone the the commments! I'm not sure I'll do this again because it was a bit hairy the end braking like crazy ( I to pull it down from 160 MPH to 0 in about .3 of a mile - Red Brakestuff pads rock!) and doing it one handed probablly was't the best idea, but it all ended well as I've said the road is closed after dark so no laws were broken.
Thanks again glad you enjoyed the video and now you know my license plate (Look to the left of your screen) ain't lying. When I get my S65 and tune it, I think GONEIN3 might be next!
