E55 and SRT-8 use the same mettinger M215 diff. From my eyeball( I have a SRT-8 diff for testing purposes) it looks to be indentical to the one on my CLS. I came across this a while back and was looking for a reason to try it but my coupler donut is fine. They are pretty cheap and might be a better option than the MB part raping.

You do have a point there on the stealership raping........

my brother in law has a SRT-8 so im going to check what his prop's coupling if i see a difference i'll let you know but you seem to have done a little research already so im sure i wont see anything that you dont know about already.

thanks for the link and your opinion always good to have information like this.

The srt8 flex disc will not work. They are 6 bolts and the AMG is 8.

As far as I know there is only the stock parts. You can get the febi/bilstein parts from the aftermarket suppliers. It is the same part from the dealer.

Might as well get it from the stealership then, not going through the hassel of matching parts etc.....

Thanks for all the advice!! really appreciate it!!
