Replace rear battery.

Re-sych windows
Re-sych pano roof (if applicable)
Re-set yaw sensors (steering wheel full-left to the stops, then full-right to the stops)

....then prepare yourself for the red screen "Visit Workshop" message when your front accessory battery dies!

At least that was my experience. Rear battery failed, the front battery failed less than 2 weeks later. YMMV.

I'm sure there's a thread somewhere on the syncing. Basically it's just opening the window to the very bottom and then holding the switch for an extra couple of seconds...same for the "up" position I believe.

For the pano roof, the synch is the same idea, just hold the button in the open position for a few extra seconds after the roof has fully opened. Same for when you close it.

Cold weather definitely weeds out the "borderline" batteries out there. The first cold snap in New England triggered all my issues. I had the rear battery replaced by the dealer because I was heading to the airport and didn't have time to fuss with it. The front battery I did myself in about 20 minutes with a "Powersports" type battery (jet ski, ATV, etc) that I picked up locally.

It's all pretty easy, but it's never much fun spinning wrenches when the temps are below freezing....

Before spending the money on the battery check your alternator... same thing happened to my car last winter. At first I thought it was the battery, then I just tried changing the voltage regulator which has worked for some people but the car died on me again. Ended up having to change the alternator, costed me an arm and a leg but I havent had a problem since. Good luck man.
