Not once did I disrespect you with immature name calling, and relate any of this towards TimmayFest. You brought it upon yourself to do that, what I would like for you today do, is man up and call me those names to MY FACE when I get up there!!! I WOULD LOVE SO SEE IT!!!
Everyone is big behind a computer BIG GUY, and what little respect I had for you before you went into a high school name calling frenzy, is now gone. What a dumb f**k![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

Dude, emoving and I STARTED Timmayfest, TOGETHER. What you say about Police officers DOES relate to Timmayfest, since there will be quite a few of them there. I hope you get a warm welcome despite the things you have said here, but I doubt it......

Wow, you REALLY won't like the folks at Timmayfest then. SEVERAL of the core group, my GOOD friends, are officers. The police escort we are getting for our parade route is being set up by one of the "founding fathers" of the event, ALSO an officer.
Not very respectful dude.......
Not very respectful dude.......
And im in the same boat as you benz-o I do almost the exact same thing when I get pulled over with the windows down etc. My brothers a cop here locally, and I have had the chance to be on many ride alongs. Once you see it from another perspective its a whole different world.

I think You misread my post Tim, I have the ultimate respect for obeying the law for speeding, racing on the street, dui etc. What irritates my is often been pulled over for cosmetics on the Benz, and the fact that a younger person is driving a high end car.
I totally respect your fest you have out together, and if you prefer I stay away I will.
On the other hand, any request emoving makes, will be ignored. Guy constantly likes to insult and inflict online bulling which I wont tolerate. I apologize for disrespecting you indirectly as that was not my intention, as for the high school acting name calling b***h Marcus, well you sir seem like an angry person with deeper issues. Hope you make it dude.
Again Tim, sorry if I upset you and Jake for that matter.

Blah blah blah. All I am reading is diarrhea of the mouth.
This coming from a Guy that sells cars he buys every two months because he can't afford to hold onto them, 7 year old cars at that, loll.

Ohhhh, so you pick and choose the laws you think should pertain to you. As in other threads I will comment again on your "fact that a younger person is driving a high end car", I would say most have as nice if not nicer cars then a 6 year old 20k Mercedes. You seem to be one of those people that think people should bow down because you drive a MB. Get over it. Go complain to the people that make the laws instead of disrespecting the people that put their life on the line to enforce them. You also fail to realize Tim and I formed timmayfest and EC is the main sponsor. So you should probally stay in Atlanta with the rest of your friends. Too much "bacon" at timmayfest for a tough guy like you.

I dont get tickets Marcus, had two speeding tickets in 17 years. I am very careful and totally obey the speeding laws, BUT if some clown pulls me over for my tint, which is all that my car can get hit for, unless I open the electric cutouts, which I never do on the street, I would not be happy. I may even pull the limo tint off by then for a cleaner look, so that wont be a problem.

Keep lying your lies to justify that fact you think all "Bacon" is out to get people who "never" do anything wrong.

In answering this question, there is a slight difference in flipping cars as opposed to not being all to avoid them for more than a couple months. Not surprising your pea sized brain can't comprehend that notion![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

In my experience of getting pulled over a lot while younger and recently, I have proof that it is up to the officers discretion to write you a citation for most vehicle and regular stuff too.
Experience:
16-18years of age: talking back to officers and questioning his judgement: instant ticket and they take their time to get back from his patrol vehicle too.
Totaled 6 speeding citations, 2 in one day; 3 exhaust tickets modified and sound db and 2 tint citations.
16-18: Pretty much shutting up, and being that nice guy the cop doesn't want to give a ticket to: Still wrote a ticket but for seatbelt even though I was wearing a seatbelt. Contested ticket and he never showed up. Got out of a few more while doing 80 on CA99 too, just simple things like: "slow it down, ok bud?" Got me out of 3 different occasions and I for sure thought I was nailed.
Now with my maturity at a different level at 23 and getting shot at and blown up in Iraq I have a lot of respect towards officers, I've been pulled over I'd say maybe 3 times since I've gotten Purple Heart Plates on my cars and haven't received a citation yet. We are human's we do make mistakes, it's up to the officer to decide if you deserve to pay for your mistake so you can learn from it so you may not hurt anyone else.
I also have a bunch of run ins with the law where they never even pulled me over. Even those pesky motorcycle traffic cops, that like to stick on your butt and tailgate the crap out of you until you make a mistake, now they just tail me for a second or so, I usually just switch lanes out from in front of them, most pass by without even glancing. I've had two occasions where I merged onto a road and they switch lanes right behind me thinking this AMG badge commits robberies. I switch lanes, and they switch lanes too! Freaks me out man, but I keep my military bearing and pass up the person I switched lanes to get around. Pass the guy up and switch lanes again, doing the speed limit or less. The cop gets behind me one more time and I'm like, ok what does he want? Then he just switches lanes and flips a U turn. This has happened twice! I felt like I was doing a lane change tango or something.
Yeah they can be abusive of their powers some times, but it's such a small number, and most of the men that serve actual do serve and not just write tickets, surprising huh?
Here's a great story of an officer helping,
I had a flat tire driving from Modesto, Ca back to San Diego, CA. Got off the freeway into Modesto's West side, which is notorious for car thefts, assault and everything else in the book. I started to try to change my tire, but was having difficulty kneeling because I lost my left foot and burned my right calf in Iraq during an ambush/firefight. As I was sitting on my *** trying to change my tire, a bunch of hoodlums start walking my direction from a block away, mind you this was very late at night. Just my luck as soon as I start to try to get up from the ground when the guys are near the parking lot of where I am, a police cruiser is rolling in from behind them, and they couldn't see. The four guys walk straight towards my car in the middle of an empty parking lot, and I'm in combat mode, lol. One guy yells out something that seemed very slang and I couldn't understand it, I didn't respond and they start walking toward faster. The cop pulls in the parking lot and turns on his patrol lights. The guys scatter, and the cop pulls up, asks if I needed help.
I tell him I lost my leg in Iraq and i'm just trying to change my tire but feel uncomfortable sitting on the ground without someone watching my back in the area. He get's out and finishes changing my tire. I forgot that officers name but I will never forget him. It's funny how much I hate them when they try to get me, but love them when they go after others. But you always forget about the times they help YOU.

But you always forget about the times they help YOU.

Guys, let's let this one go. As much as I love a good MBWorld fight, just reading this above, really puts some things in perspective.
Marcus, those that know you personally, know what kind of person you really are, regardless of how some people perceive your online persona. This guy is solid, boys. Trust me. I've been to his house, met his family, and I can say with zero degree of uncertainty that he doesn't sell his cars because he can't afford them. He's just a whack job, that just can't get enough.

Craig, put your pectorals away, and back away from the keyboard. I don't know you personally, but I have a feeling that you and Marcus are probably more alike that either of you will probably ever admit to. Ask yourself this: Why do you think Marcus is offended by your "bacon" comments? Do you really think he spends his day in a cheap suit, at some dealership as a car salesman, or is a full time car flipper? You're a bright guy, that's obvious to me, but think about what line of work he may be in, to have such a vested interest in this banter.
I'm going to go kiss my hot wife, tuck my boys into bed, and have my oldest say a prayer for those that are still abroad, protecting our freedoms, like Mr. Infantry.

I'm proud to admit, yes, we all need some back up sometimes. That's why those guys wear that uniform. It's not camouflage so that you can see them and ask for their help. My job was on the other end, and I don't feel like hurting anyone else ever again, especially an officer who's just doing his job and i'm acting like an asshat who thinks i've got better **** to do and my life is a bit more important than others. Thank God i'm retired, and I usually don't mind chatting with the officer, and when they leave, I always let them know I care, by saying something like "Be safe out there." Hopefully the next guy they pull over was just having a bad day, and that cop may give em a break because they realize something, just maybe, just maybe.
Be grateful we don't live in Iraq. Had some Iraqi police officers at a checkpoint we rolled up to pulling guys out of their cars and finding alcohol and beating them in the streets with their own shoes. Damn dry counties, haha.
