Purchasing aftermarket wheels
alright so i purchased my E55 in December and it already had some aftermarket staggard 20" rims. Somehow, i managed to crack the driver front rim due to low pressure or something, but anyhow to the point. I am looking to replace my rims and with this massive brake kits on the AMG series is making it difficult to find rims that would fit. As of now i have some deep dish style wheels and would like to stay with that, but the down side to the wheels i have on there now have spacers on the front to clear the brake caliper and i would rather not have spacers on the wheels ya know. So does anyone know of some specs that i can look for to be able to clear the calipers or any kind of good guidance? Thanks

best deal around and they are 19s so you have more rubber between your wheels and the potholes........no spacers and they clear your brakes.

Honestly i was kind of wanting a little bit of all of them, but i am more concerned with not having to worry about cracking my rims again. i would have to say that i am more concerned with performance and style.

18s for performance. 19s are a good compromise between performance and looks. 20s for looks and don't care about performance.

Yeah that's what i figured and if i cannot find anything in 19" then as last resort i will get some AMG wheels and have them powder coated black or possibly have the anodized black then clear coated. ;-)
