W211 E55 - Transmission Issue?
Hi,
After going on an advanced driving course over the weekend, both myself and the instructor noticed a strange thing with the manual mode of the transmission.
In both 1st and 2nd between about 3100 and 3300 revs there was a small blip as the power seemed to come off for a fraction of a second. This was fairly regular (always in first).
This is both a little disconcerting and also uncomfortable given the small jolt it creates as the power comes back.
Any reason why this would be normal (eg somehow related to the supercharger)? Any ideas on what the problem could be?
