DIY Door Lock Actuator Replacement

I just replaced mine this afternoon and thought I would share the very nicely done DIY that I used. If posting this isn't allowed then someone delete it, but it is very good information.

I will add that installing new rivets in the window guide is actually easier than bolts, washers, and nuts. Also, the window guide does not have to be removed, just roll the window down about an inch, remove the rivets, and push the bottom of the guide toward the outside of the door so you can wriggle the actuator assembly out.

If you're not doing the driver side door you can skip step number 8.The whole process can be done in an hour. All of the electrical connectors snap right into the door module and it is quite easy.
