Keyless go stopped working after car wash

I just took my car for a car wash and now the keyless go wont do anything when I lock and unlock the doors from the outside. It does start/stop the engine fine though. Any thoughts?

Micro switches went bad. Not serviceable. You need a new door handle.

Glad to hear.. I still wouldnt use a car wash though.. I dont know if you have seen, but ive heard of very serious electrical problems and cars shutting down after car washes.

The buttons in those door handles are good for about 4 to 5 years before rubber on the inside starts to tear and let water in. Specially if they are used in colder climates.
Had same issue on clk and older s. lucky the new one is touch sensors.
