I'm looking to get a Quaife QDF9V LSD installed ASAP. Is there a reputable shop in the Bay Area that can install one of these? The traction issues are getting really annoying and my car is only mildly modded. This definitely has to be my next mod. I'm running new Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires and can light them at will. Coming from a GMC Syclone and Lancer EVO IX, this thing is frustrating to drive. Don't want to run around with DRs on a daily basis so anything to improve traction will be welcome.

 

i use MotorSpeed West in Santa Clara to get all my work done - they are not a tuning shop but have been in the valley for over 25 years - Ken and Bill legit - shop is not all flashy, just honest guys who do a great job - only work on MB & BMW.

 

What did they charge you?

 

If your willing to make the drive to Sacramento, I have a friend, who is an ex dealer tech, that will install it inexpensively.

 

unitrax in cali installed my wavetrac for 225$ into my diff housing. diffs are all they do. wavetrac and quaiffe are a 24 hr turnaround. install back into the car will be more
