I hear ya. I'm on the fence whether I should paint my stockers grey like yours, gun metal or black. Or like you said go for a more aftermarket look and pick up some forgestars or along those lines. What have you liked the most on your car so far?

The DPEs look sick in person but oddly enough, they are 295s and dont look as wide as the 275 CLS tires. I would probally pick up those newer Forgestars that were just posted up. I would go with the super concave model or whatever the hell they call it. I would go with the gunmetal, its is hard to show in pics but it looks pretty good with the black. Keep you stockers for the hell of it but I wouldnt waste money powdercoating them.

I have these wheels sitting in my garage, after 2 years of constant vibrations, 1 crack wheel and 2 bent wheels, countless road force balancing.. I gave up on them.
I went back to stock, and I sleep at night peacefully.
I'm getting ready to sell them.. since they need a good refinish and probably need to be made round again.
If I had to do it again.. I would of bought CLS 18 AMG five spoke with some concave in the front and rear.

Those wheels are sick.
Only cool smart people would think of throwing on 19" CLS wheels with 275's on their cars. And not use any spacers because they just look better that way. :-)
I think DVS (who saw my car tonight) is going to end up going that route when he starts working on his as well. :-)
