had no clue makaveli was still in business. you mentioned not wanting a 9" in front so you could run a 245, was that due to an aggressive offset? I know plenty of e55's with 9" running 245's upfront

the stretch of a 245 on a 9" wheel is barely noticeable...I like the way a small amount of stretch looks.
Can't wait to see the pics of the wheels on the car though.

Once I have issued the stamp, you have to go buy areas where the females love to hangout, such as malls, high end restaurants with valet service etc, and prove to the fellas, wheels can cause the draws to drop

That looks da business. Five spoke are hard to beat, and brushed centers with polished lips allows for my pre-approval, "Certified" panty dropper status.

Out Of Control!!
can I ask what the cost of something like that is? I designed up some wheels for my M3 with a buddy back in 09... it was a more concave/aggressive CSL style wheel that I was going to do, but never really found anyone around here that does that type of thing

But arent you afraid of MASSIVE understeer because of 245/285 combo? Even with stock combo or 255/275(285) combo there is alot of understeer (ideal for our car is quad 275/275 or even quad 285/285, but 40 difference in your case will make huge understeer. Or are your goals just good look?

I've had the 245/285 and 295 combo before and never have had any issues
MASSIVE understeer I dont know about that... with these 20s definitely not looking to goto the track or anything, just for daily driving. Although in the past my 20s have felt more planted than the stock 18s. Wide rear rim = wide tires. Most roads are straight around here so not much to worry about under/over steer issues

I know what the stock combo is. It is the worst combo possible (understeer plus lack of grip on rear axle from the dig). It is set that way from the factory with intention to understeer, because normal people handle understeer easyer then oversteer.
Yes, 275 on all for corners (or even 285) is the best for our car considering dry neutral handling/grip. Few people just here on that board never looked back after they go to quad 275. At the moment (from 15.11. to 15.03 because of law) i am on winter setup; 245/275 on 19" with ET30. Good Year WinterGrip Performance2 tyres plus 4x10mm spacers (fenders rolled,maximum wide track possible without no rubbing at all, car is lowered 1,5 inch).
There is almost no snow here at winter, just cold, dry roads. If here would be snow, i would use narrower possible tyres (quad 245 or even quad 235 of course again on 19" (20 and up are too big (neg.effect on handling), and 18 is too small not just because of look, but also because of too little brake cooling effect).
At the summer (15.03 to 15.11) i have been on few combos; 255front/275rear with PS2, 255front/285rear on GY F1 Assym.1, 265front/295rear on Pirelli. All combinations on 19". This year my hopes are quad 285 or AT LEAST 275 front/ 285rear. On 19" wheels (10j front and 11j back).
Why do you ask?
