Price of an Oil change
Can you guys tell me what the price for an oil change is on a E55? Coming out of my Neon SRT, I am a little scared. Does the extended warranty cover these?
I had a PPI done but I am out of town till July so I will make an offer when I return.

The E55 does it's own oil changes....
Turn the key to position 1... Press the odometer reset button three times quickly, and the display in the gauge cluster will show you the service menu. Use the up arrows on the steering wheel scroll through the options until you get to "Oil Service". Press the "+" to select button othe steering wheel to select....then scroll again until you see the option that says "Service A - Change Oil"..... Press the "+" key again to select.
The display will show a graphical display of the oil level as it drains, and refills. Do NOT restart the car until you get the "SERVICE COMPLETE" message in the display.
That's it! Simple... No reason not to do it regularly on these cars. It's cheap insurance.

God damn newbs. Are you related to turdster? Use the search button it's been discussed 100 times. But FYI you can goto Walmart and buy any cheap 5w40 oil. Doesn't have to be synthetic. Mercedes doesn't know anything.

A nice 0W30 flows easier thus releasing about 10 more horsepower. Oil is oil, at the end of the day its all slippery.
