For the fans of Pewter. . .
I was always a fan of color matched grills no matter what color the car (I believe Jag did this with their XJRs). . .
Found this pic on Euroteck's website and realized it was pewter with a color matched grille. . .I really like it!!!!!!!!!

It really does look amazing - can't wait for the Pewter guys who are getting their 63 conversions done from Gary to post pics - I figure it gives people reference for color matched grills with something other than black

I think it's going to look really good, and he get's different thunder with the gunmetal wheels, I was hoping to encourage other members who have cars other than black to color match their grilles (I really want to see the other colors matched with the grill now)
Brother - do it - especially with the MB development program you have going on down there - for what it's worth - the silver jag looks the best color matched
Pics or it didn't happen
hmm looks nice. wonder how a silver grill painted the same way would look on a silver car.
thats how i had my Flint gray E55 done color matched grill was the best

Maybe is the lighting...... this car looks more champagne which more yellow. Pewter looks more lighter silver.

Haaaa, funny you are dead on, although the 50 degree weather is making it easier to think about. I also picked it up today from the Kleemann install but they did not have time to do the after dyno, so I need to run it up next week with the 19s to keep it apples to apples.

I like it, but still think im going to go with a black grille. It just seems to flow better in black I guess (with the roof and hood vent)..
I should be done my conversion by the middle of May or so.. Roads and still salty and still need a few more parts..
Charley, why are you waiting?? You know its going to look good

My guess is it's only going to put down 440. My car is getting torn apart this weekend. I'm in no rush. Plus with depreciation with the "used" wheels I should be getting a better deal. I mean $950 including shipping is a little steep.
