An idea of cruising down to Lake Geneva is perfect driving distance.

 

^ It would definitely work great for me. I would just meet at the lake though. Maybe I could get a couple of Milwaukee guys to join me. It is a pretty drive down I43 on the way to Lake Geneva.

 

I would agree about traffic and congestion....I think lake Geneva would be prrfect

 

was thinking of something closer to Chicago... but might be in for that.

I might be down for this aswell, just need to plan ahead, 115 mile drive for me.

 

If I'm thinking of the right starved rock, I am down 100%. I am talking about the one in Utica/Oglesby. I have been there many times, and boy do they have some sharp twisties, and a lot of straight aways. I always see GT500s and Corvettes up there, and the occasional out-of-towners in BMWs and I have even seen an older (~2005) Ferrari.



Woops. didn't spell 'Straight' right in 'Good Straight* Aways'.. lol

Starved Rock is a 155 mile run for me. Probably out of range because of my rich EC tune. I am the out-of-towner though so you guys pick the spot.

 

I'm also down for whatever the directions you guys go with.

I'll be heading out to SCS this Saturday. Hopefully I get there early enough to grab a spot.

I do the drive up LSD > Sheridan about once a week and it is nice and relaxing. This weekend there is an arts fair on Michigan Ave so traffic is going to be a nightmare. I'm on Michigan and Grand and that's why I'm leaving the city. Too many people.

 

im down either way. But if i were to pick in order i would go with Lake Geneva, Starved Rock (since ive never been up there) the Downtown chicago (I do love the city but it will be nuts this weekend.

Same here...going to SCS as well. I think we should choose Lake Geneva location. If everyone agrees with the location and we all can meet up at Honda Mall dealer parking lot right exist between Randall Rd and West I90. On the weekend in Downtown Chicago, especially in the summer is always nightmare.

Guys..let go and having fun driving down to Lake Geneva. It's a couple of hours driving from Chicago.

 

Guys watch this vid clip and it looks fun we all can do the same on Saturday night in Chicago.

 

Dreaded raise the car light came on during the commute home tonight. Anyone have to replace airmatic or move to coilovers? Use an independent for this? I dropped it off at the closest mb dealer on my way home to have them diagnose it. Should know more tomorrow.

 

Come on guys. The weather channel says lake Geneva will be partly cloudy and 85 on Sunday. Don't you want to escape the giant heat island that is Chicago?
