Its truly magnificent and the scenery is gorgeous.

Unfortunately the selection of women is not to my taste.
And only the seahawks are the only game in town!

I am as conservative as they come but living within sight (everyone here is) of the world's biggest open pit copper mine sure makes you think twice about the environment. They basically MOWED down an entire mountain.

Provides huge jobs and cash to the state so she'll never close.

We're getting closer to having the NBA come back, and the Mariners are in a rebuilding phase, but in the last few years the Sounders have emerged as a really hot ticket. I think we have the highest attendence in the MLS--went to the home opener last night and it was INTENSE to say the least; 39,000 people!

Washington is my original home state. Born in Walla Walla, college at Ellensburg and lived in Bremerton for three years. When it is warm and sunny, Seattle is an absolutely beautiful city and fun too. Sunny days are like holidays, people really take full advantage when the weather is nice.

The sonics were good when I was in college. (Sikma, JJ, DJ, Fred Brown & Slick Watts). Wow! I guess that was a while ago. Oh, and the women, I think they can stay covered up too much of the year. It has a negative effect on hotness.

Good gosh! There must be miles of road going to the bottom. What are they doing with all of the dirt they drag out of there. I assume there is a mountain of it nearby?

The fellow who invented this open copper mining technique was hailed as an Edison in 1910.

Near us we have Lime Rock Park, Loudon, Monticello, and the best medicinal quality limestone quarry in the US. The quarry is similar in size but not aspect to your spot. We have good bird shooting nearby but too many deer ticks. Sam Posey is a neighbor.
The quarry is mined by Phizer to produce the base of many drugs. I'm proud to be awakened every am at 6 by their trucks and make coffee for AMG.

There's some AMG goodness within 2 blocks of me. There's a black SL55 and a dark grey 190e 2.3-16.

Probably about 2 minutes from my house is where they are building the SSC Tuatara.

That should be in Houston, not VA. Still can't believe Houston did not get one of the space shuttles.
