Basically the scoops grab more air and the tubes smoothe it and allow more of it to make it to the TB at once therefore you'll make more HP.
This is one of those mods though that won't show up on a dyno despite having a large fan in front of your car, but you will feel it when you're going 70-80MPH as air is just slamming into the scoops at that speed. (Which is good).
Put your hand palm out toward the front of the car next time you're dirving at 70 MPH and feel the preasure against it if you dont' believe me.
. That's what both scoops are getting at speed, which is a good thing!My $.02.

OK guys, all PM's have been answered and we have 10+ so we should be good for a second run! Below is the updated list for the second run and I'll send this over to Bruce right after this post.
THERE IS NO NEED TO PAY FOR THE 2ND RUN YET, he just needed confirmation that he coud get 10 folks interested so he could start building them.

Below is an update from Bruce on the first group buy, looking good! I'm responding to PM's now as well.
All of the scoops are back from powder coating(including the green ones) so the original GB will be shipped this week.

$35 to the UK. That would be $240+$35 since I included the $10 shipping to anywhere in the US.

Just got an email saying my scoops shipped! Thanks Bruce & Alex for setting this up.
So is install as easy as removing the OEM plastic thingies, drilling one hole per scoop and attaching? I can't tell from the pics if its one drill hole or if there's more.
