Alright. I will respond to you one last time and then I am sorry but I can not continue to dwell on the past and not move forward as you may seem to believe. You purchased a unit from my car; which worked as shown in pictures; then you said when you received it you said it was DOA; so after some back and forth I paid for the repair of the unit to someone I found in England who repairs these types of head units; you received it back in working condition as promised. I apologize if it took longer than it should of, but I did everything I could have to solve the problem including money out of my pocket. And my paypal is in perfect standing as is my AMEX. So once again, it is extremely disrespectful to come into my thread and post horrendous things about me when they stand no ground from over a year ago that you are unable to get over for whatever reason. Please stop. You are posting personal attacks against me saying that I am a scam artist and that I must have scammed someone for my new car, TERRIBLE to say to someone. Again, please stop, it is just rude.

I am going to chime in here. Aleks is a great guy and genuinely loves cars. I will say he tries his his hardest to help out a fellow enthusiast. I cannot start to count the number of times I have texted him at 11pm or 6am asking him or discussing with him random car knowledge.
He went out of his way when we worked on my car and issues did go down but that's a given when working on cars. Working with shops the last 10 years has taught me nothing ever goes as planned. Aleks went out of his way to make sure I was happy and we have become good friends since.
I don't believe for one minute he has nothing but good intentions as he has been caught on the other side of the scenario and knows what it's like to have a car out of commission. His knowledge of STAR is invaluable to this community and he has helped me modify many nanny STAR items on my car that nobody knew how to remove or change, even the dealer. He is a great connection in the City of Chicago.
