Anybody know what rims these are?
i recently purchased a 2004 E55 AMG. I know these are not the stock rims but I was wondering if anyone knew what model MB these are off of?

It's an SL wheel that was recently discontinued by Mercedes. I remember lots of members getting them for a really good deal, around $125 a wheel IIRC. There's a thread on here somewhere.

I live in Des Moines near Normandy Park, but I grew up in the Rainier Beach area.
Haha thanks. Not sure if I'm gonna lower it. I like the way it rides and I dont wanna lose that.

Lowering a little bit won't hurt the ride comfort...I was pretty slammed on my E500 and it was riding the same but def. more stiffer

I like the look of em. I might lower it, if it wont affect the ride too much. But I'd have to ride in someones whos was already lowered to see if i like the ride or not.

Any suggestions on rims? I want something that looks classy not "racer" style.

I like the look of the SL65 rims but not too keen on the CLS55 ones.

here you go.... they clear the big brakes with no spacers, however I have spacers in the rear and front for flusher fender look. winter wheels and tires. and also pic of wheels being built for the nicer weather. 20s Cargraphics in CF with polished step lip.

to the OP those are OEM MB rims. If you do a search you will see a thread where some info was posted as to how to get these wheels at a deep discount from parts.com
