Illuminated sills

For those of you with illuminated sills, do yours light up without the key in? Mine only light up with the key in and turned on. I don't have keyless go so i'm not sure if that makes a difference.

Mine light up even without the key. I think you have
connected the the sill cable with the wrong "car" cable.
There is plenty of other connections, so take the one that works even without the key in.

mine light up when doors open and interior lights come on, they turn off when interior lights turn off.

all controlled by the rear SAM and a relay

off topic, but where did you guys buy your sills? And are they for just the front two doors or do they make them for all 4? Is it a pain in the *** to install?
