I'm already figuring out ideas on keeping her cool. I'm going to take the seats out and see where I can cut weight and try some cooling ideas. Hopefully we will get some Cooler weather and I can do some test runs at my local 1/8 mile track.

Can't nitrous be pumped through pipes or something to cool intake temperatures? Maybe like a top mount intercooler with pipes which nitrous goes through. I know this might sounds like rubbish and not make sense but just throwing an idea.

It wouldnt help my setup. I go straight from the trunk tank to the intercooler then to the heat exchanger and back to the tank. If I didn't have a trunk tank full of ice it would help.

Where are your jets? Pre SC, post SC, or after intercooler? I would think that you wouldnt get much cooling benefit pre SC so im guessing you have it after it.

Out Of Control!!
You do get cooling if you spray through the charger. It actually amplifies the power gain

That doesn't work. Except for the bit of nitrous that would get into your intake lol. Air to air cars do it because you are actually cooling the charge air. Spraying on the heat exchanger for water to air setup does very little for IAT's.

I will switch to slicks if i have trouble getting traction with the drag radials. I haven't even played with tire pressure or anything else yet. When i say 10.51 and just getting started its the truth. I planned everything i wanted to do in December. We started actually working on the car the first week of February. Put it together and dyno'd the day before the track rental and ran a 10.76 at 4455lbs and the car wouldn't shift right. Jerry put another tune in it,shifting is fixed and changed the front tires and put a 17lb braile battery in. Its got a lot more left in it.

We will know the answer to that question this week. See my sig pic, that is a nitrous ring on my HE. I also have a 195mm like Steve, so we are going to finish tuning the car with no ice and spray, then spray the HE and see what the IATS look like.

I did extensive testing with my c32 with that setup...
