Recommended Shops in Orange County

I am looking to have some work done on my e55. I know some folks think highly of Benzworks in HB. I have had GMG do stuff to my Porsches and I guess they can do MB too. Any other shops worth considering ? Also, if you have an idea on how long a shop should charge for the following it would be helpful as I got an estimate that seemed crazy (10.5 hrs)....(1) Install my EC crank pulley, water pulley, and belt, (2) install my EC heat exchanger, (3) install shorty headers. Thanks

+1 on benzworks. Serge is great, and he always goes above and beyond for his customers! Great pricing too

I have been a Benzworks customer for a long time now and agree that Serge does go above an beyond when it comes to service. He does all my maintenance and has installed the following mods on my car.

180 pulley
EC heat exchanger
Johnson pump
Long tube Headers
HID Fogs

The car put down 533HP and about 600 torque on the dyno and the power feels incredible. You would be in good hands if you went there.

Kipper - Which headers did he install ? Serge seems nice on the phone, I was just a bit surprised how long he said certain items took to install....E.g. 4 hours for a heat exchanger & 4 hours for shorty headers...But if he is "the best" in OC....

I believe the headers is his own design. I will get the specs and post for you. I kept the stock exhaust, which was a great idea because the car is really quiet at cruising speeds on the freeway.
