friend of mine said he has RPI intake scoops just like TTMs and they are the same and less than $175.. i would rather go with TTM though, any thoughts on this?

Thanks guys for your patients we have been working hard to get this project completed, but the manufacture has been very busy with their other work. These should be completed in 2 weeks.









Here are the details for the TTM E63 Air Scoops Group Buy:

1. $250/pair ($240+$10 shipping)including shipping in the US.
2. The scoops will be powder coated black (no charge) but any custom colors are available. We will include any color at no charge as long as you can have at least 5 of that color. Any color where the quantity is less than 5 and there is a $20 color charge. The TTM reflective logos are available in either black or silver
3. Shipping turnaround will be 5 -7 business days.
4. We will reply to any questions on this thread.
5. For payment PayPal the funds to s62bmw@gmail.com I am handling the group buy with Bruce.
6. For the people that have been waiting so long once payment is receive we will ship them promptly.

anyone here want t change from black to red? any tested gains or any difference when on the freeway? P.S. nice it took so long i am not 100% positive i want these unless they are really worth it, but since we have two weeks, I'm sure i can make my desiscin and get my **** together by then

Is this group buy happening or what? It's been almost a month since the last update that these scoops were suppose to be at the fabricator.

I just figured until I actually saw someone with them there was no way I was sending any money. They are basically for looks anyway.

I received the same PM. No posts from anyone who actually got a set, no pics, no dyno results, came across as a little shady. No way I was sending any $$ without basic info. Took these off my list until all the above questions are answered and documented.

For what it's worth, my car is not starved for air at all with K&N's, not sure these scoops would really make a lot of difference in the real world.

Nothing shady here, they were done and I have explained. On this forum there are rules.

I have received mine a few weeks back, I haven't yet installed them, as I am dealing with other car related issue.

Not sure if the fitment is the same as the E55, if so, tape the top of these to avoid the damage a few e55 owners experienced with the hood closing on them. Fitment purposes. Remove after.
