Carbon Fiber Seats
All the seats I've seen that are lightweight and CF/Kevlar are bucket seats. I know that's because that's what the market for them is but could there be a seat just like the ones in our cars but with all the electrics gutted and all and CF frame. That is after all what makes a seat heavy. I can't imagine the leather and foam being the culprits.
Does anybody have a diagram of our seats, you know the innards?

How much do you think gutting the seats would save? I love the stock seats, they're so big and easy to get into and so damn comfortable. Plus they look premium and worthy of a luxury car plus buckets don't have adjustments.

I wonder though how much gutting our seats would save. Don't get me wrong the Status seats are just epic but I love the "slide in, slide out" style seats when in a luxury car instead of the hard and hugging bucket style.
