Friggin flexi joints on exhaust ...

Well, pulled my mid section to have the rear cats chopped and look what has happened to the flexi joint internals ....

The internal mesh has accumulated in the centre of the pipe leaving a hole about an inch wide...

Picks to follow...

I suspect I have some power left to unleash

Holy cow Steve! Guess we found a major source of some of your problems eh?

How has the car been running with a 1" exhaust restriction?

E63 AMG
Flex pipe always seem to leak over time and get messed up. Id drop the extra cash on the flex pipe for forced induction which has a internal pipe(bendable section of a straw). not needed since there no pressure loss issue but better constructed.
