2006 E55 AMG
Secondary air pump?
What would happen if I removed this pump?

I have a check engine light for the pump and the pump is LOOOUUUUDDD.

So i figured it's emissions related, so it probably would just make it more smelly if I removed it and that's about it? Right?

Does the car feel any different to you ? Is it idling fine, power ? SC ?
I had the very same thing happen to me ... I will post a detailed post regarding my recent experience .. but I am ancxious to hear more regarding this issue .
