Engine oil dipstick W210 same as W211 ?
Not sure where to post or ask.... the engine basically is the same except W211 with SC. Now, would like to know if W210 oil dipstick fit W211.

Hi mate,

they all fit, but the measurements are different, the min and max level will be wrong.

With the 55K engines you need a dipstick with gauge measurement markings.

I tried..... put the W210 to W211 and came out dry so they are not the same at least in the reading. I did unplug the red cap next to Airfilter in W211. is that the engine or the tranny ?

square cap is transmission.


they all fit, just not long enough to measure... you need this below:

Thanks......... I asked the SA from my dealer about this and that dumb *** SA told me that can not drive the car when the dipstick is in it. I was WTF...... seriously.....
