E55 Xenon Conversion.
Whatsup all i just bought my 06 e55 white, which i thought had the xenon system already. Got the car yesterday and sadly it does not. Ive searched to forum and found a bunch of old post on HID conversions. Seems like everyone has mixed emotions on it. Im looking for something white not blue like all those damn hondas out. I ordered some 5000k led day lamps but i want to convert first my headlights to xenon, eventually my fogs to the same. I have access to a star machine...So here are my options i would love to hear some recent feedback on what others have done or regretted. my biggest thing is i don't want flickering, and don't want error codes screaming at me all day...
1. Buy a cheap HID kit, 6000k for $50.
2. A local custom car shop, (friend who is a installer) said he could get me a kit 100 for the ballast 40 for the bulbs and it comes with a resistor to not throw codes.
3. Was looking on ebay and found these links...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-2006-Me...ht_2600wt_1413
http://www.ebay.com/itm/03-06-Merced...ht_1818wt_1413
The third option seems like its going to be the most expensive one. I know something similar has been posted on this before but didn't get any definitive answers on whats the best option.
Thanks!

The headlamps were $900 a pair and I sold my halogen headlamps (new condition) for $500 so it cost me $400.
The OEM BiXenon headlamps are now over $1200 and I see OEM halogen headlamps on flea bay for $100-$200.
