World Record SLR 9.7s ET Weight
Regarding the SLR Renntech record and the whole weight debate I'm pretty sure now that 4100 lbs is BS because Renntech says their exhaust saves 100 pounds alone from the SLR

So either they're lying about the weight or the exhaust and they definitely used this exhaust on the record car.
By the way I see that Renntech's $37,500 package gets the car to 750 crank HP. That's an awful lot for a car that already has massive heads, built internals and a massive intercooler and dry sump. I know Renntech are crazy when it comes to pricing considering they try to sell an IC pump for thousands
but seriously can't the SLR make like 650-680whp? ....and if it can wouldn't it only take a couple of thousand (assuming you don't go Renntech)?
