E55 headlight gone strange
Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.
A couple of nights ago i went over some bumps and my left head light pointed into the trees. I came home and checked it out and it is still self leveling but it looks like the focus is changes as it is not the same shape beam as the right headlights.
I changed globes and checked if everything is tight but its still the same. I tried to adjust it but its not an adjustment issue its just that the beam has a different focus.
I believe it may be that the actual lens is damaged or something.
Anyone have this problem? Is anyone selling a left headlight assembly?
Cheers

there is a little pole that pushes a flap up to give you high beam, you might find banging it might unstick it. I know it sounds crude but i have a lens unit which i am going to replace in mine due to a dodgy cornering motor so ive studyed it fairly well.
if a short sharp bang does not free it, you may be able to get at it after taking the bulb out.
i will try and take some pics of the bit i mean tonight
