Got an E55 MY 06, 56k miles Warranty Quote
So at my local MB dealer today and decided to get a warranty quote, covers everything except wear and tear etc. (basically the most comprehensive 3rd party one they sell)
48mths / 50,000 miles for $8,800.00 with a $250 deductible PER INCIDENT
Then told him I had some RENNtech stuff on the car...forget it they won't even quote
gotta start adding coins to the coin jar.....

buy a warranty from Bruce. He got me a 4 yr 50mile warranty from NAC for around $4500 with a $100 deductible. it's a great warranty that covers ALL items except the ones listed. My warranty has paid for itself twice already in two dealer visits. first one was $7500 and the second one was $1500. Now granted I could have done those repairs myself for around $2500 in parts and a few hrs of labour, so I consider my warranty about half paid for

$8800 ? ?!?!?!? not even worth it. Remember still $250 for deductive so if you go there once means its $9K adding the deductive. $9k is a lot of money to fix this car as long you don't go to a dealer. You can even change Engine, tranny, enigne mounts, a pair airmatic suspension for less than $9K. I hear good reviews from Bruce warranty, good luck !

I agree if your a credit union member they usually provide after market warranty options , I got a 6yr 75,000 miles for $ 1,600 dollars on everything on car except brakes and wear parts , I've already used it on value cover gaskets .
