Is it not blown at all, crank needs to be replaced. Until it is opened up and gone through, I really wont know if anything else got hurt in the motor.

LOL you really need to calm down and read...I never posted anything about #8 cylinder....A damaged crank is not a small problem, but I guess you know that as well.

As for me being a noob, I am an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, have numerous ECU and ABS patents, and ran in IMSA for 15+ years with one of the best teams in the industry. So yes, I guess I am a noob.

well according to one of your previous posts you stated:

for someone who is as knowledgeable as you state, you should know what causes a blown engine and on the 55k engines that would most likely refer to cylinder #8. just because you have 15 years doesnt mean you know everything. Ive seen people with 15 years working in the field still do stuff wrong.
