Aftermarket Warranties

All

It's been asked a lot in here, I realize, but some of the aftermarket warranty companies are starting to tighten up and not do AMG due to repair costs. I will be looking in to Fidelity and NAC, but I believe at least one of the two - if not both - no longer offer a warranty for my 2007 E63 AMG.

Has anyone purchased an aftermarket warranty lately (last two or three months)? Any recommendations? Car is going into MB dealer next week anyway, and I'd like to do the warranty inspection while I'm there, so I'd really like to get the ball rolling...

If you do have a company to recommend - do you have the contact info of who sold you the warranty? Or can I just do it at the dealer?

I purchased an aftermarket warranty from Bruce @ Becks Imports (forum sponsor). Transaction was pretty painless. Good guy.

I ended up going with Fidelity over NAC due to it being personally recommended to me by someone that I'd probably go to when I need warranty work done (aside from the dealer).. although from the research I was doing you can't go wrong with either.

Yes it was, but you can call them and they will give you a MB dealer near you that can do the inspection.

I have a Maxcare and it is awsome. My dealer here says they are super easy to deal with.

I'm using Assurant and have had almost all good news. They did not cover one part when one of my headlights went out, either the ballast or igniter.

Awesome guys - thanks for all the info. Working through the process now. For those like me, who are currently looking into getting a warranty, I'll provide more details when I get some quotes.

FYI - my car has 66,000 miles, which will apparently contribute sharply to cost.
