I did everything said by another thread. I have the 2 screws under the radio unscrewed and it won't "just pop out". Something that sounds like metal is blocking it. It only comes out like 1 mm. please someone help this is driving me nucking futs

The screws don't come out. You have to turn each screw to a certain height so it aligns centered and then you can remove it. It's like you have a peg on top and a peg on the bottom and an empty peg in the middle. You need to unscrew counter or clockwise to align them to clear that middle empty peg slot. I believe counter clockwise is going down and clockwise is going up. You have to align each side evenly. I changed my unit to a Euro Comand and had a hard time t first until I figured it out. it's something you kind of have to play around with. Try one side first. Then the other.

There's no pegs like suggested. What it was is you HAVE to unscrew both screws til there's resistance. Doing this moves a little metal peice up and alows the radio to slide out. I'll post pix when I can. Another question. If I unplug the radio will i need "the code" when I plug it back in?
