Buying/looking at an E55, need help!
It is a 2003 tectite e55 with 80k miles. I can get it for 20.5k, and it has the following options: panoramic roof, keyless go, dynamic seats, and ventilated /heated seats.
What do you guys think?
I have an 03 and love it. I also work on my own cars and have connections on things I don't want to do usually. If its clean, descent mileage, and a good price I say get it. 20.5 is too much for 80K miles IMHO though. I'd be looking to get it for 17-18.5 if I even was to consider one with the kinda mileage.

see if the crank position sensor has been done. mine went about a month after i bought the car (only 47k at the time), also check the driver side door lock to make sure with the keyless go you can open and lock the door. all of my doors work except the drivers side. finally if you get an intermittent message "battery protection convenience functions temporarily unavailable" check your battery connection mine was loose on the positive terminal and that solved it fortunately

I think I know of the car you're looking at. I would start at 18k and work up from there. If its the one I'm thinking of, they have had it car for a long time.
